Curious About Cuisine?

A theatrical man after my own heart, Shaw really hits the nail on the head. Always armed with an astute observation, here he hints at how intrinsic this passion is for many of us.

For some it is a means to an end, a way to refuel, something that just has to be done. Yet, for the foodies amongst us (and there are many of us), it's a passion, a vocation - it's true love. It may be a means of survival, but as enthusiasts we have made it our own, imbuing it with our own unique style and individuality.

Like many before me, the art of food has become one of my raisons d'être (despite the side effects it has on my waistline). My favourite moments in life are those around the table (be it breakfast, lunch or dinner) with the people that I love.

With that, I am on a mission to review the great and the not-so-great eating spots around Sydney, with a cheeky cocktail or two thrown in!
